Random: I bought this Tofu Baby figure from Kid Robot while I was in NYC

This was a very memorable trip (thanks to my friends!). The hostel we stayed at was decent, the weather wasn’t as bad as it could be and the random fun & exploration was priceless I’m probably going to return for another trip in the summer.

I (or rather, we) got a bit of inspiration from the trip: taking urban exploration further, starting a random project (I’ll put an update on this later), sun tanning newsprint pads in the summer and other weird things. Next trip in mind: My friend and I want to explore the southern part of the states (purely for the culture clash experience) that’ll feed our art project..

Freedom Tunnel

We ventured into an underground tunnel… where homeless people were inhabiting it (but they weren’t there in the morning). It was a bit scary because a train passed by us pretty quickly unexpectedly… and we ended up leaving the tunnel early because we heard some voices.

We walked all around Central Park, up to Harlem today. Sadly, it was a very short visit since we headed back to Manhattan after feeling a bit sketch there…

I’m heading to New York with a couple of friends this evening. We’ll be arriving there the morning after for some juicy American breakfast food.

I’m bringing my laptop along, so hopefully I’ll have some time to update the blog!
