I drew some MRI scans from references. They’re just literal representations, but maybe they can be taken further later on after I learn more about them?

1) By hand: I finished my 2nd sketchbook.. so I started a new one with nothing else but anatomical drawings:

I’m going through the muscle tissues right now and learning as I go
I’m also referencing sonograms and photographs of cells for practice since it’s a very different way of drawing compared to still life.
2) On the computer: I decided to practice playing around with photoshop brushes today since I’m super rusty with this digital stuff…
The style: promotional cards for disco clubs haha

My buddy, Shaggy
I posted this incomplete track a few weeks ago.. I kind of started working on it again (out of no where!) and actually managed to finalize it during the past few days
!!
I trekked over to the west end of Toronto yesterday (where Dundas meets College) and found an abandoned warehouse:

I made some beats yesterday (experimental), but for some reason, I couldn’t
find a melody that suited it. Starting off with a melody and adding
in a beat (to hold everything together) is so much easier.
And then I started another track… this time with a bass.. yet no lead melody:
I’ve also been listening to some oldrock music again & really appreciating
their experimental elements:
The Stone Roses - Begging You // Led Zeppelin - Kashmir // Sonic Youth - Bull in the Heather

I randomly stumbled upon this vintage OSCar* synthesizer <3 :)

… and here’s something else random that makes me miss downtown:

Note to self: I am overusing this Larabie font!
On the side: My sister made me the best xmas present ever! It’s beyond accurate, from the vneck t-shirts to my dirty macbook!!

I couldn’t resist designing another infographic. It’s just a basic map of where (some) organs are located on the body - relative to eachother:

And some drawings

I’m at my parent’s place, surrounded by tacky patterns and Christmas ornaments.

And of course, my favorite bottle of French wine that I brought over from Paris last summer, it’s still here!!

I found these cute handmade plushie ornaments hung around the tree at the south east corner of Trinity Bellwoods park! I remember picking one up at the City of Craft for my sister’s present… but I didn’t catch the artist’s name
